However, in the end one ends up accumulating those home appliances which are either not useful or already present at home.

Useful home appliances should of course be bought even if they are not available on discounts. The reason is that these are required by the home maker and have to be available for better use. But in case you buy a very good home appliance which has little utility then it’s just a waste for you.
